Mud Hydrometer
Mud pressure densitometer The hydrometer is used to measure the density of drilling fluid.
The lever on the upper part of the main blade is embedded with a horizontal bubble. When the bubble is in the center position, it means that the lever is in the horizontal position.
The lever has a movable weight. There is a screw at the back of the lever, which is convenient for the weight to move freely along the lever groove without falling off. There is also a small screw hole at the front and bottom of the weight, which is used to adjust the weight of the weight. Unless the instrument is corrected again, do not unscrew the screw hole, otherwise the instrument will be inaccurate.
The right end of the lever is connected to the balance cylinder. There is a plug on the balance cylinder, which is mainly used to correct the weight (lead particles) added by the lever balance. Therefore, do not unscrew the plug on the instrument unless the instrument is recalibrated.
The main ruler of the lever is placed on the main knife edge of the support base. The lever ruler can swing flexibly.
The main ruler of the graduated lever and the main ruler of the lever are embedded with a main blade as the fulcrum. A drilling fluid cup is attached to the left end of the lever. The upper part of the cup is provided with a cup cap. The cup and cup cap are locked with a pressing cap. The upper end of the cup cap is equipped with a one-way valve. The liquid is pumped into the cup with a suction pipe from the one-way valve to compress the gas in the cup to obtain the true liquid density.
The hydrometer discharges or compresses the gas inside the liquid by pressurizing the liquid, reducing the influence of air or natural gas mixed into the drilling fluid on the measurement of drilling fluid gravity to a small extent. Measure the true liquid density.
