‘NX’ Core Gauge is a must for every wellequipped rock mechanics laboratory. All critical part of the gauge are heat treated and ground to very close tolerances.
Measurements are made with the help of a dial gauge affixed to a ground removable slide plate.
In operation the rock core is place between the top and bottom reference plates.
The dial gauge and slide plate are then positioned and the measurements are made by sliding the plate over the top reference plate. A right angle gauge is provided for squareness measurements. Standard bars are supplied for initial setting of the dial gauge.
