BOD Apparatus is an instrument that uses the principle of mercury free differential pressure method to measure biochemical oxygen demand, and can be widely used in environmental protection monitoring, petrochemical, teaching and scientific research departments to monitor water quality.
Biochemical oxygen demand or biochemical oxygen demand (generally referred to as five-day chemical oxygen demand), a comprehensive indicator of the content of oxygen demanding pollutants such as organic matter in water. This instrument is based on the 5-day cultivation method. The five day culture method is also known as the standard dilution method or dilution inoculation method. The principle is: after dilution, the water sample is cultured at 20?± 1? for 5 days, and the dissolved oxygen content in the water sample before and after cultivation is calculated. The difference between the two is BOD5.
