Double Layer Membrane Filter for Water Testing Lab
The double layer membrane filter can be used for air filtration and can also be used for clarification and sterilization treatment of various liquids. The stainless steel double-layer flat membrane filter is suitable for small capacity scientific research, laboratories and other units. This filter is particularly suitable for various microporous filter membranes and can be matched with vacuum pumps and air compressors for suction and pressure filtration, with good sealing performance.
Structure
The mesh plate stores various filter membranes, paper, and other filter materials, with 4-8 fixing screws on the outer circle and three supporting feet on the lower side. Upper and lower cover plates, with two threaded mesh plates in the middle for secondary filtration.
Principle
It feeds material from the upper mouth and passes through the filter material under pressure to achieve the purpose of filtration, while the material liquid is discharged from the lower mouth. The required filter material is stored on the middle mesh plate of double layer membrane filter, and the filter material has various sizes and apertures according to the product requirements.
Usage
Before using the new filter, remove the sealing ring, soak it with 10% sodium hydroxide to saponify the oil stain, and then repeatedly clean it with clean water for several times until it is completely clean.
The filter used for Aseptic technique shall be sterilized.
After wetting the filter membrane with distilled water, gently place it on the support mesh plate, then cover it with a cover plate and tighten the bolts to use it.
After installation is completed, connect the intake (liquid) pipe and gradually pressurize, at which point the liquid is discharged from the lower port of the filter.
When the lower port of the filter does not discharge liquid, it indicates that the filter membrane is blocked.
After the filtration is completed, close the pressure valve first, open each exhaust valve to exhaust gas, and then open the filter plate to remove the material. When the filter is under pressure, it is strictly prohibited to open the discharge port and filter cylinder to avoid human injury.
When there is no pressure on the double layer membrane filter, opening the upper filter cartridge will reveal the solids on the filter membrane. Remove the solids and complete the filtration cycle.
After each experiment, please clean and reserve the filter.
