The technical specifications of the BBR-1 model are designed for precision and reliability. The displacement sensor has a range of 0~10mm and a resolution of 5μm. The pressure sensor's range is 0~4900mN with a resolution of 2mN. The water bath temperature range is from -40? to room temperature with an accuracy of ±0.1?. The base box is made of stainless steel, which is durable, beautiful, and easy to clean.
The Asphalt Bending Beam Rheometer (BBR) is a high-precision instrument designed to evaluate the low-temperature fracture characteristics of asphalt binder. It tests the creep stiffness of asphalt binder in low-temperature environments, which is directly related to the low-temperature shrinkage cracking performance of asphalt pavement. The test results provide indicators for creep stiffness S(t) and the rate of change of creep stiffness m(t).
Controlled and displayed by an industrial tablet computer, the device offers a real-time view of deformation, pressure, and temperature curves. Its refrigeration system combines Peltier and a refrigeration machine, achieving a fast cooling speed, dropping from room temperature to -18? in just 40 minutes with high temperature control accuracy. To ensure test accuracy, the refrigeration unit and main unit are connected by hoses and placed separately to prevent vibration from affecting results.
